These terms and conditions apply to all bookings made between Joanne Topper and the client who engages her services. My goal is to ensure that every aspect of your experience is as smooth, transparent, and enjoyable as possible, while honouring our mutual commitments.
Service Costs
The cost of your photoshoot will be discussed and agreed upon, and all details will be provided to you in writing.
Your Images
All your selected images will be delivered in high-resolution digital format, lovingly edited to meet the highest standards. I aim to deliver your initial set of images within eight days of your photoshoot, or according to the timeline we agree upon.
Deposits
To secure your booking, a non-refundable deposit is required. This ensures that the date in my diary is reserved just for you. The deposit amount will be confirmed when we finalise your booking.
It’s important that the deposit is paid by the specified date. If the deposit is not received in time, I won’t be able to guarantee the date or provide the services. However, if you make the payment after this date and I have already booked another client, I will happily work with you to find an alternative date that suits us both.
The remaining balance for your session is due 48 hours before your scheduled photoshoot. I begin preparing for your shoot two days in advance to ensure everything is just right for your experience.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
I understand that life sometimes gets in the way. If you need to cancel your booking between 7 and 3 days prior to your shoot, your deposit will be retained, but the remaining balance will be fully refunded. You also have the option to apply your deposit toward a new date of your choosing.
For cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice, if the full balance has already been paid, we can work together to arrange a new date that fits your schedule. I know that every situation is unique, and I’m always open to discussing the best way forward if something unexpected comes up. Together, we will find the solution that works best for you.
Purchasing Extra Images
If you’d like to purchase additional images beyond your initial selection, I’m happy to accommodate your request. However, in order for me to proceed with the post-editing of these extra images, payment will need to be made in advance. This ensures that I can dedicate the necessary time and attention to perfecting each one for you.
Printing & Framing
I work with specialised fine art printers to ensure the highest quality for your prints. The usual turnaround time for printing is within 10 days after post-editing is completed, depending on the printer’s schedule. If you have an urgent request, please let me know, and we can discuss options to meet your timeline.
Gift Voucher
All gift vouchers for the company are valid for six months from the purchase date, as confirmed on the voucher or via email. Please note that the gift voucher is non-transferable and cannot be passed on to someone else.
Confidentiality & Usage of Images
Your privacy and trust are incredibly important to me. While all images remain the property of Joanne Topper, I will never use any of them for marketing or promotional purposes without your explicit consent. We will either sign a written agreement on the day of your shoot or confirm your wishes via email at a later date.
Video and Written Testimonials
If you provide a video or written testimonial, I will assume that you are comfortable with me using it for marketing purposes unless you express otherwise. Please know that your full name will never be shared publicly without your permission. I deeply respect your privacy, and everything we do together will be handled with care and discretion, guided by mutual respect and understanding.
